Blog Post 1: 2/2
My proposal was about my catholic faith journey and being able to go out and help out other people in the community. I wanted to write about how God played a role in my life. I also wanted to go out and being able to go feed the homeless and being able to cloth the homeless because being able to go out and help others is a really good feeling. Especially when you can make them smile when they really don't get to smile or even have the energy to smile. Because maybe they don't have anyone like family and are always down and depressed. Another thing I wanted to do was during like Christmas I'd like to adopt a family that have kids that simply can not afford to buy their kids presents for Christmas. I'd like to do that to be able to see myself smile because of something good I did for someone else that is in need. I'd also want to do a lot of fundraising to be able to help out charities that are in need of money. Especially donating money to young kids that have cancer. Being able to bring joy to people that are going through some rough patches in their life is an amazing feeling.
My process so far has been okay. I think if I keep putting time into it the more I will get out of the project. I really like the idea of blogging because it helps you be able to blog whatever you want to blog about and go where you want with it. I have went hone and started thinking about different ideas I want to blog about and it's been hard to choose. But being able to have class time to research and get a better idea about what you think you want to blog about is very helpful.
I want to accomplish getting my work done next week for the 20 time project. My biggest fear is getting behind. But if I do get behind I always find a way to get back on track. I want to try
to get a good grade and do my best.

ReplyDeleteThis seems like it could be an interesting project. Do you want to focus more on learning about the Catholic faith or about service learning? How will you be documenting your progress for something like this? You might want to narrow your focus to be able to better meet your goals. My two cents.
